St. John Maron Maronite Catholic Church belongs to the ancient Syriac-Aramaic Catholic tradition that goes back to the time of the Apostles., and while the Church is in full communion with the Pope, the worship follows this ancient tradition with a vibrant, modern balance. The experience of the Liturgy is both ancient and modern, deep and yet enlivening. Three languages are used for worship: English, Arabic and Syriac, a dialect of the Aramaic that Jesus spoke.
Saint John Maron Church has recently acquired the property on 300 S. Flower Street in the City of Orange and the parishioners are eager to become active members of the community. Joining the Chamber was the first step and holding the Cultural Festival is an ambitious endeavor to reach out to the whole Orange County community.
Remember these dates and don’t miss the chance to enjoy three days of great fun, authentic Lebanese food, music and dancing in addition to the games, rides and vendors all in an ambiance of true Lebanese-American hospitality.
