Eggs & Issues Podcast featuring Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes
The Eggs & Issues Podcast, presented by the Orange Chamber of Commerce, brings the community together in a live-audience setting to hear directly from business leaders, local officials, and community partners about the issues shaping Orange. Recorded live at our monthly breakfast forum, each episode captures the energy of the room and the conversations that matter most to our city.
The program runs from 8am to 9am, with networking opportunities available before the event starting at 7:45am and after the event until 9:30am.
Each breakfast will have a new topic based on current and pressing issues around the region. This format will be the perfect place for community members to be in the know about current issues in and around Orange!
About Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes:
Don Barnes has dedicated more than 35 years to law enforcement in Orange County, joining the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 1989 and later becoming the County’s 13th Sheriff-Coroner in 2018. He leads a department of approximately 4,000 employees responsible for patrol services, jail operations, criminal investigations, emergency management, and regional law enforcement training.
As Sheriff, Barnes has focused on crime prevention, school safety, reducing jail recidivism, and combating narcotics trafficking. He also serves in leadership roles with state and national law enforcement organizations, advocating for public safety and intelligence coordination. A Southern California native and longtime Orange County resident, Barnes holds degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration and is a graduate of several prestigious law enforcement leadership programs.
