By profession, Robert Slovak is an Astronautical and Mechanical engineer. However during the past thirty years Robert has dedicated himself to the science of water chemistry and water treatment. in the 1990's, Robert was involved in water projects in Brazil and became sick with gastroenteritis due to unsanitary eating conditions in the small village he lived in. A local gave him six doses of Quinton Marine Plasma saying it would quickly eliminate his issue - and it did!

Intrigued, Robert met with the biologist in a nearby town who imported the seawater from Spain where it's clinical use is well known. Observing the many benefits Quinton had to offer, Robert introduced the seawater to a distribution company in America and eventually formed Original Quinton North America.
