THE ORANGE MAY PARADE UPDATE
We are reaching out to share that the Orange Chamber of Commerce Orange May Parade team has been closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation. The health and safety of all our community – participants, dignitaries, sponsors, parade-goers, event volunteers, and staff -- are our top priority. As of today, April 20, 2020, we must postpone our plans to hold the Annual Orange May Parade on May 2nd. The Chamber of Commerce is committed to holding the Parade once it is allowed. We ask for your continued support of the Orange May Parade! We are closely monitoring this unprecedented situation and will follow California Department of Public Health directives as it pertains to large outdoor events. The Orange Chamber of Commerce has been in direct communication with the Mayor, Old Towne merchants and community groups that share in the mutual love for the Orange community. This group will be working together to plan a community celebration which will likely include a parade once COVID-19 is over.. We promise to continue to provide event updates on our website www.orangechamber.com. We urge everyone to stay safe. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We look forward to holding the Orange May Parade!
